Who we are

Who we are

Nsync Inc. develops embedded spatial audio software. We license our renderer to chipset makers and device manufacturers, and we are developing devices of our own with manufacturing partners.

NeiSa

NeiSa — Neural Intrinsic Spatial Audio — is our binaural renderer. Neural networks derive optimal transfer functions from a large-scale hyper-BRIR database, and the result is distilled to run real-time spatial processing on low-power embedded silicon. Given a high-performance DSP or a mobile application processor, the same engine separates sources with AI and renders a full sphere — around you, above you, and below.

Where it runs

NeiSa ships as a C/C++ library with no chipset platform restriction. It runs on XMOS platforms and on HiFi 3/4/5 DSPs, and is portable to other audio DSPs including Qualcomm's. Nsync is an official XMOS Solution Partner (xmos.com/partners).

In evaluation

Proof-of-concept evaluations have been carried out with global companies in gaming, media platforms, automotive, mobile, content, XR/AR and healthcare. Consumer products built on the technology are in commercial distribution — online worldwide, and on retail shelves in the United States.

What comes next

A DAC converts digital audio into analog. We are building the step after that — a SAC, a Spatial Audio Converter, that turns any source into a sound field built for the person listening. Headphones and earphones under our own brand are planned to follow.
