Device development

SAC

NSYNC’s audio converter in development, powered by Neural Sphere Audio. The device approach brings binaural rendering into a dedicated playback path for headphones and earbuds.

Supported input channels, host compatibility, connections and rendering configurations will be specified for the product. Development material is not a final shipping specification.

Application beta

Metascape

A working beta application built on NSYNC’s renderer technology, with AI XPHERE for real-time mono/stereo source separation and placement within a Sphere Audio scene.

Estimated components from stereo processing are distinct from the original native multichannel mix. Availability and supported configurations depend on the application release.

The Neural Sphere Renderer

A binaural rendering architecture for software and embedded integration. Working implementations span Windows, Android and iOS, with porting and evaluation across DSP and application-processor environments.

For native/discrete multichannel sources, channel positions are mapped to two-ear signals using human auditory perception modeling. Full-sphere rendering extends above and below the listener when the source layout and implementation support those regions.

Intelligent hearing protection

A complementary capability across source types, alongside Neural Sphere Audio rendering and AI XPHERE. Available protection features and playback paths are specified for each product.

A configuration family that can grow.

ConfigurationRendering layout
Neural Sphere 7.17 horizontal channels + LFE
Neural Sphere 7.1.47 horizontal + LFE + 4 upper
Neural Sphere 7.1.4.47 horizontal + LFE + 4 upper + 4 lower
Neural Sphere 7.1.8.87 horizontal + LFE + 8 upper + 8 lower

These names describe configurations before binaural rendering, not headphone driver counts. Four-part notation is NSYNC’s configuration convention. A family listing does not mean every product supports every configuration.

What Sphere means.

Sphere describes the perceived 3D auditory sphere around the listener. It is not an input format, codec, Ambisonics representation or spherical-harmonic encoding scheme.

The listening result depends on content, supported layout, headphones and individual hearing. Stereo input does not become a native discrete 7.1 source simply by selecting a surround mode.
