Read the images with these updates.

  1. Current brand: Neural Sphere Audio. References in the images to NeiSa or Neural Spatial Audio describe earlier branding. A supported 7.1 rendering configuration is now called Neural Sphere 7.1.
  2. Input and output: native/discrete multichannel input is rendered into two-ear headphone output. Ordinary stereo and already binaural audio are different inputs; selecting 7.1 does not recreate an original discrete mix.
  3. Choose the playback path: use one appropriate binaural stage. For already binaural sources, start with direct playback. EX-STEREO or FPS mode is optional where supported and can change existing cues.
  4. Scope: full-sphere rendering requires a supported upper/lower layout and source. Neural Sphere 7.1 itself has no discrete height channels. Changes in timbre or position can have several causes, including mapping, downmixing and duplicate processing.

The names you will see.

Neural Sphere Audio is the technology brand. Neural Sphere 7.1 describes a seven-channel horizontal layout plus LFE before binaural rendering. Upper- and lower-hemisphere layouts are available in supported implementations under Neural Sphere 7.1.4, Neural Sphere 7.1.4.4 and Neural Sphere 7.1.8.8.

Sphere means the perceived 3D auditory sphere around the listener. It is not an input format or Ambisonics / spherical-harmonic encoding. Your product’s supported inputs and modes determine the available playback path.

Existing interfaces may still show NeiSa, Spatial Audio 7.1, EX-STEREO or FPS mode. These are legacy interface labels, not additional configuration guarantees.
